Abstract:
The global energy sector is undergoing a profound transformation due to climate change mitigation efforts and the increasing importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) requirements. The transition of utilities and industries toward sustainable energy solutions depends heavily on experts who specialize in nuclear, solar, and hydrogen technologies for clean energy project design and management. This research investigates how the integration of renewable energy with advanced nuclear reactors, photovoltaic innovations, and green hydrogen systems facilitates the achievement of decarbonization targets while adhering to ESG frameworks. The main obstacles involve managing intermittent power supply while achieving policy consistency and securing long-term project funding through sustainable methods, which require multiple disciplines to design energy systems, optimize smart grids, and implement circular economy principles. Utility-scale deployment case studies demonstrate successful approaches to stakeholder management, risk reduction, and project lifecycle management. The research investigates how ESG metrics affect power sector investment choices reg, regulatory requirements, and corporate sustainability approaches. The study examines current trends and technological progress to provide practical recommendations for policymakers, energy companies, and project developers seeking to accelerate the path toward net-zero operations.
